Value & Impact Learning Exchange

Qualitative impact evidence: sharing our adventures

Thursday 6th June 2019 Lancaster University

The ability to generate, collate and communicate targeted and timely qualitative evidence, which effectively articulates the human impact of our services, is becoming ever more imperative.  Northern Collaboration invites you to share your experiences of this at our Learning Exchange at Lancaster University on Thursday 6th June  2019 10:00-15:30.

Aimed at those working in performance and impact roles across the Collaboration, the Exchange will provide an opportunity for you to share your experiences and learn from others. We would like the day to be as lively and engaging as possible for you. Our agenda could include short presentations and lightening talks; mini workshops and activities and informal discussions around topics of your choosing. Lancaster has a beautiful campus so we are hoping to host some of the activities in the open air - June weather permitting.

Update: our programme for the day is filling up - thank you to all our contributors! There are now just a couple of slots left for lightning talks.

If you would like the chance to present a lightning talk and/or book a place as a delegate please complete the online booking form. We will be in touch to confirm your place and/or discuss your contribution. We particularly encourage and welcome contributions from colleagues in the BAME community, who are under-represented in our sector.

Topics could include the following but please feel free to suggest others:

  • Your experiences of the demand for and value of qualitative impact evidence within your own institution
  • Your experiences of any challenges in demonstrating the value of qualitative evidence to stakeholders who favour a more quantitative approach
  • Successful initiatives to generate qualitative impact evidence
  • Approaches to qualitative data analysis
  • Approaches to qualitative data visualisation and communication of impact

We hope you can join us and look forward to seeing you at this event.
