Bookings are now open for the Northern Collaboration’s (NC) UX Learning Exchange organised by the NC UX Special Interest Group which is to be held on Wednesday 26th February at the University of Manchester’s main library.  The event is free of charge to all Northern Collaboration members.  The format for the day is:

10:30 – 10:50 Presentation 1: From Wonky to Wonderful Wayfinding - Jordan King and Angela Walker, University of Salford

10:40 – 11:00 Presentation 2: University of York ESL UX Project -  Alice Bennett, University of York

11:00 – 11:20 Presentation 3: Notes on a Large Library: UX in Bill Bryson Library – Naomi Baguley and Harri Endersby-Marsh, University of Durham

11:20 – 11:40 Presentation 4: SHUX – Creating a university-wide user experience network – Holly Corso and Jacob Billington, Sheffield Hallam University

11:40 – 12:00 Presentation 5: Finding out what students really do think of their new VLE: Alison Sharman

12:00 – 12:20 Presentation 6: Human Centred Service Design at the Teaching and Learning Centre, University of Durham

13:45 – 15:15 Workshops on how to conduct a range of the techniques, some of which will be mentioned in the morning sessions

If you would like to attend please complete this form by Friday 14th February.  As places are limited to 30, please note there is a limit to the maximum number of attendees from any one institution to five.  If we get more than five, we will keep the names on a waiting list and then if there are still space after the closing date a place will be given.   


On the day you need to report to the Reception in the main library.  They will then give you details of the room number.
