Northern Collaboration Content Group Learning Exchange 23rd March 2021

One year from lockdown the Content Special Interest Group of the Northern Collaboration will be hosting their 8th annual Learning Exchange on Tuesday 23rd March 2021.

This event will be online. There is no fee but attendance is restricted to Northern Collaboration member libraries. 

The theme of the day will be: “The New Normal?” Resources to meet remote delivery - challenges and solutions

We are looking for presentations (15, 30 or 45 mins) on how institutions have delivered services and provided resources in the last year. 

 Potential topics could include: 

  • Role of print in a Covid/ Post-Covid world 
  • Reading lists in a Covid environment 
  • Free access to resources during initial lockdown – opportunities or threats? 
  • Managing and meeting student expectations 
  • Using customer feedback and evidence from the frontline to help design current/future services/workflows 
  • Maintaining diversity, inclusivity and accessibility of resources/services 
  • Effect of Covid on Open Access monograph adoption 
  • Implications for metadata and discovery 
  • Rethinking ILL provision 
  • Covid - an accelerator for change in future content provision?

If you are interested please fill out the proposal form giving a brief 250 words max synopsis of the presentation. 

The deadline for submissions is Friday 22nd January 2021.
