LJMU’s Library Services is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the Customer Service Excellence® kitemark in December 2014. 
 
The assessor particularly commended the integration of customer focus throughout the department, evidenced by achieving full compliance with all 57 of the standard’s criteria.    It was particularly noted that ‘staff fully understood the core business of the University’ with a strong culture of sharing information and planning.  In addition,  the development of comprehensive library standards helped to contribute to this excellent result.  The department’s strong relationship with its customers was highlighted as an area of best practice for the department, in particular how new services had developed as a direct result of customer feedback.
 
Library Services, LJMU, is extremely proud to hold this award and is looking forward to developing the service more in 2015!
